LOVE/ TEDDY GIRLS

“Teddy Girls” by Liz Ham for Oyster #85 (2010)

I came across this editorial somewhere on Pinterest and I directly repinned it because the whole masculine vibe around it appeal to me (to be clear: not the cigarets on the first picture). I also love the whole historical background of it and it made me even more interested in the phenomenon of ‘Teddy Girls’. These girls back then were some bad-ass ladies and are still an inspiration for me and probably also for designers like Phoebe Philo and many more. What do you think of this editorial?
