Instead of going to a very relaxing tropical island my boyfriend and I are spending this summer working hard on our home and redecorating it here and there. I think a home is never finished and you always find new things to work on. For example, now we are changing our walls and we’re thinking to get a beautiful white floor – which I’m so excited for! Out with the plain and old and in with the fresh white. For today I’ll share some of my interior inspiration for the Friday Five.
SLEEP WELL
(Picture above) A beautiful all white bedroom with some great pops of color. I think this is how I would love to have mine look like in the near future – yes, I’m always so impatient. Before that will happen I need to work on a long list of tasks like re-painting our bed and walls, new ceiling and floor. So much to do and so little time…
ON THE FLOOR
Who would have thought a simple mattress, some books and lamp would like so stylish I almost want to get rid of my own bed – maybe I’m overreacting a bit, don’t you think? Nevertheless, the simplicity of this interior is super inspiring and shows you don’t need a lot for a great bedroom.
SMALL SPACE
This is one of those spots in your home that only has a practical use because this is where the stairs and all the doors of your rooms come together. You really don’t want to see how it looks like right now at my home and I hope I can transform into something like tis soon.
HOT SUMMER
We’ve got the same fan at home and I didn’t know it could look so stylish. Before, I just saw it as a practical piece that has been in use almost 24/7 during these super hot days right now. With our new fresh white floor I know it will look more stylish in our interior.
RELAXING TIME
I truly love this hammock meets bed that’s actually unrealistic to get it at my home. But it reminds me of the fact that I still want to have a hammock in my home. We’ve got a serre where we would love to create a beach atmosphere and spots to relax in is a true must have of course.
