DIY • PIMP YOUR FEDORA HAT

Ok. I really need to be honest with you guys. I’ve been planning several diy’s but every time I just hadn’t the time or totally forget to capture the entire process of it. But this time it’s different!

Actually I think you can’t call this a true DIY because it’s to easy – I say: super easy. I recently received this Accessorize fedora hat and I knew I wanted to change a bit to make it more unique. Read down below how I DIY-ed it.

What do you need
Hat, scissor, old belt or piece of leather fabric, glue gun and/or needle and thread

Do it yourself
First you want to get rid of the old trim. Most of the time the trim on a hat is glued or stitched on. Depending on this you can rip or cut it of and do this carefully without damaging the hat itself. Now that you know the length of the trim you can cut a new part of (leather) fabric or an old belt. Depending on what you cut you can glue or stitch on the new trim on to the hat. That’s it! So so so easy!
