THE BEST BREAKFAST YOU’LL EVER TASTE

Actually it’s becoming quite cliché sharing a recipe of banana pancakes. It’s an ultimate hit on instagram and every fitgirl is eating them instead of the regular ones – including me, even though I’m not saying I’m a super fit girl. But after trying out this yummy treat it has become a habit to make them at least two times a week – just because they are so delicious. When you’re eating these pancakes on a regular base it’s good to try out different ways to make them to spice it all up. Todays banana pancake recipe is my personal favorite and it’s perfect to start your weekend with and put a bit more effort in your most important meal of the day. And the amount of pancakes I made here was enough for 2 people – so if you want you can share ;)

What do you need?
2 ripe bananas
2 eggs
A bit of almond milk
Protein powder (optional)
Strawberries
Greek yoghurt
Coconut flakes
Coconut oil

Get your two ripe bananas and mash them up with a fork. After this you can add the eggs, milk and a bit of protein powder. Now you’ve got a nice pancake batter where you can work with. It’s up to you to go for a few smaller pancakes or a big one. This time I went for a few smaller ones because I was planning to share it with my boyfriend. Put some coconut oil in a hot pan and be sure it’s hot enough. Put it all on low heat and now it’s all about patience. When you see bubbles coming up in the pancakes you know it’s time to flip it – that’s it! For my ultimate pancakes I like to finish it all up with strawberries, coconut flakes and greek yoghurt. Enjoy!

I would love to hear if you have made banana pancakes before and what you’re favorite way is of making them. Let’s share!
