BIRTHDAY WEEKEND IN PARIS

A world filled with magic, a place with no worries and pastel-colored houses where I wish I could call my home. With a packed car my boyfriend and I headed in the early morning to arrive somewhere in the afternoon in rainy Paris. Not something I wished for but sometimes you just need to deal with things (like the weather). Of course, we made the best of it and walked around the city under an umbrella and some shopping at Le Forum des Halles. After my first burger of this weekend (yes, it’s was a kind of yolo weekend when it comes to food) we headed to our hotel just outside the Disneyland Parks. With a head full of joy I fell in sleep instantly.

After a good breakfast (also not quite healthy – with eggs, croissants and sausages) we headed to Disneyland Paris and I still didn’t know what to expect. Since I was 5-year old, while watching my favorite Disney movie – Fantasia – I head the dream of going to Disney to experience it to the fullest and intoxicate myself with all the magic. Now, 23 years later the moment was here. And magic there was. I didn’t know where to look and go because I got totally overwhelmed with the sweet atmosphere. From the pastel-colored houses to my favorite rollercoaster – Space Mountain Mission 2 – and ending it with the breathtaking firework show to end it all with a blast!
