A month ago I was happy to be invited by ASOS to check out their Autumn and Winter 2015 collection. To be honest it was a last-minute decision of RSVP-ing to this collection preview because the same day I just arrived from New York to Amsterdam. I was a bit afraid of suffering from a severe jet lag and the possibility of not being in the mood to do anything active. But surprisingly my boyfriend I were quite fit and after a good shower, brunch and a power nap we headed to a rooftop venue to have a nice view over Amsterdam and check out what the ASOS collection will bring for the next season.
Of course we saw a lot of suede and the 70’s trend being present next season, but integrated in warmer pieces – like striped sweaters, skirts and coats. Next season it also will be the time for the jumpsuit which be there in many styles, colours and prints – something for everybody! It’s interesting to see that there’ll be a switch from pointed shoes to more rounded versions for fall and winter this year. Further, I found it great to see that the menswear collection has a minimalistic touch with some outstanding pieces to spice it all up. But first, let’s enjoy the Summer first….
