7 TIPS YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR YOUR NEXT TRIP TO DISNEYLAND PARIS

As a 5-year old I was dreaming of going to Disneyland one day. A place full of magic where everything is possible and you only need to think about which ride you’re taking next. Now, more than 20 years later, the moment was here and I couldn’t be more excited. Because I planned this trip quite last-minute and for a good price and thought you guys would be interested to get some useful tip for your next Disneyland Paris trip.

Go for a simple accommodation
I booked my trip to Disneyland Paris including a Disney hotel that was located in the same area – only a 7-10 minute drive with the bus. I guess it was one of the budget options and I was quite happy with the hotel, named Kyriad Hotel. Our hotel room was big enough, nice view over a France landscape and the breakfast was included (which wasn’t the best but just for 2 days it was o.k). In the end you’re at the Parks most of the time so going for a budget hotel was the best option for me and which I would advice everybody.

Use Fast Passes
I knew Disneyland Paris is known about the long waiting lines for some popular attractions. Luckily they working with a Fast Pass now or a lot of attractions so you don’t have to wait so long. This is how it works: At most of the attractions they have ticket machines where you can get your fast pass for a specific time. With this ticket you can get access to the Fast Pass waiting line where you only have to wait a fraction of the normal line. It worked perfect for us and something that would be a must for your next trip to Disneyland.

Go at least 2 to 3 days
They advice to go at least 3-days to have the best experience in both of the Parks. I’ve been there 2 days and I think this is really the minimum to experience it all. It gives you enough time to go in your favorite attractions, stand in waiting lines and just wander around the parks.

Bring your own food
Yes, food in the Disneyland parks is quite expensive and it’s something to take in mind. Because we had a good breakfast (not the most healthy one) but the amount of it made us not so hungry around lunch time. So with a few snacks in our backpack, bottle of water, juices and snacks it was quite enough to get through the day and we only needed to get our dinner in the park. So please, bring your own food if you want to save some money.

Stay till the end
On our first day the park was open untill 9PM and we stayed till the very end – something it would advice everybody. When it gets dark you get an all new experience with all the light on. Around 9PM the Disney Magic Show started at the castle and it’s something you can’t miss. A full 30 minutes full of music, projections and fireworks is the best way to end the day with a blast.

Avoid busy times
I visited the park in the 3rd week of January and propably one of the not so busy moments of the year. Just after the busy holidays and spring is still a few weeks/months away. So I really would advice you to look first if your dates don’t go together with national holidays or other days that a quite popular.

Just wander around
Of course, you can make a list of things you want to do during your stay, but in the end you also must not forget to just wander around, get up in the magic world and be one with this surreal world. Bring the child out of you and just enjoy!
