5 SIMPLE WAYS TO DRINK MORE WATER

I need to confess something: few years ago I had a true soft drink addiction. I just had to have my bottles of Coke (the drink of course) to get through the week. But since a while I exchanged this bad habit into something more healthy and that’s where the green (smoothie) monsters and gallons of water came in. I created my personal ways to drink more water and to make it more fun. Let’s start…

1/ Jazz it up!
Yes, water really tastes like nothing so the first thing to do is to make it more tasteful. Just add you favorite fruit and it you’ve got some yummy fruit water. If you’re more into tea, go for the basic green one for the best hydration.

2/ Drink water with a straw!
I don’t know what it is, but I just really like to drink with a straw – like a 4-yr old. With a straw you’re sipping more water when you’re drink out of a cup. So get those packs with straws!

3/ Drink before & after your meals!
When I’m super busy and need to hit some deadlines I totally forget to eat and to drink. So when I hit that moment when I really need to eat I make sure to drink before and after my meals.

4/ Get fancy bottles & glasses!
Yes, I’m a sucker for nice package design and I always take a look at the water bottles section at my supermarket. The one in the picture above are the perfect ones to drink water on a hot day.

5/ Eat more veggies and fruit!
Did you know a lot of the yummiest veggies and fruits have a lot of water in it. During your next grocery shopping spree take a look at the cucumbers, lettuce, tomatoes, watermelon, strawberries and broccoli. Bon appetit!
