4 WAYS TO STYLE CUT-OUT BOOTS THIS SUMMER

cutout boots

Cut-outs boots. These shoes have entered the fashion-scene  – thanks to Balenciaga –  a few years ago and they became a true must have in every girls wardrobe – also in mine! I never planned to spend +1000 euro on shoes, so I’m quite happy a lot of high street brands – like Invito.com –  selling similar cut-out styles. These shoes are super versatile because they give every look a edgy twist – which I’m always looking for. With the summer season within a few weeks I just can’t wait to wear my cut outs boots without freezing my toes off. Instead of keeping my inspiration for myself I thought it would nice to share with you how I’m planning to wear cut-out boots this summer. Get inspired!

1/ Drinks with the girls
This look is one of my favorites because by just adding the cut-out boots you can create a totally different and new outfit – with heels it would be too much lady-like for me. Styled off with a crispy white shirt dress, a black leather jacket it makes the perfect ensemble to have drinks with the girls on a friday sunny afternoon.

2/ One of the guys
I would wear this look when I’m planning a casual day with the guys and I only wear clothes that fit super comfortable. I’m still planning to DIY those cut-off shorts and style them with a simple tee and some cut out boots. I’ll be the coolest tomboy in town!

3/ On my way to a meeting
Meetings, meetings and meeting. Sometimes my entire day is filled with them and I’m always struggling with my daily dilemma ‘what to wear’. Especially during the summer days I want to look professional but show not too much skin. In this look you can compensate the bare legs with a structured blazer and a timeless bag.

4/ Casual day in the city
This look is perfect when you work from home – like I do – and want to wear super comfortable clothes but still look fashionable when have a day in the city for a lunch meeting, some grocery shopping or picking up packages. I’m always grabbing a timeless white shirt, boyfriend jeans and cut out boots for a casual day in the city.
